As part of the ongoing efforts to increase visibility and grow membership both locally and beyond, the Secretariat organized a general meeting with members at Manya Krobo Rural Bank.
The meeting took place on Saturday, 15th March, 2025 at the Agormanya Municipal Assembly with the General Secretary, Deputy General Secretary, Eastern Regional Officer and some staff being present to engage the members.
The General Secretary and his Deputy led the members through a presentation on UNICOF, its core values and benefits one enjoyed for being a part of the union.
New executives were appointed, and additional roles—such as Organizing Secretary and Zonal Representatives—were created to enhance the membership drive and support the leadership in managing the union’s growth
We are especially proud to highlight the Manya Krobo Rural Bank PMSU of UNICOF for their enthusiasm and dedication to the cause. Their involvement and commitment to the union’s mission set a powerful example for others to follow.
The day was very eventful, seeing members freely interact with the Secretariat on ideas, concerns/challenges they faced at the workplace and general banking philosophies.
This is the first of the many steps being taking to mark the union’s presence in all the locals.
