The second day began with welcome messages from the National Chairman, Brother Maxwell Nyadedzor, and Brother Euclid Kofi Ohene-Obeng. Both leaders encouraged regional executives to intensify their efforts in organizing leadership seminars and capacity-building activities that equip young members with the skills and confidence needed to contribute meaningfully to a stronger union. They reaffirmed their continued support and urged members to seek assistance whenever needed.

Regional Youth Executives from all ten regions presented their activity reports, highlighting a diverse range of impactful initiatives carried out during the year, including:

  • Courtesy visits and stakeholder engagements
    • Health awareness and educational campaigns (breast cancer, prostate cancer, and teenage pregnancy prevention)
    • Successful May Day celebrations
    • Charitable donations and community support programs
    • Membership recruitment and mobilization drive under the slogan “Bring a Friend, Make a Friend”

The executives also outlined their proposed programs and activities for 2026. These plans reflect the Council’s sustained commitment to organizing young workers, promoting unionization, and delivering relevant education and welfare programs at the grassroots level.

The meeting concluded with a forward-looking presentation by Brother David Buckmann, Industrial Relations Officer, who discussed modern approaches to organizing, particularly the strategic use of social media to effectively reach and mobilize today’s youth.
