NATIONAL CHAIRMAN OF UNICOF BECOMES CHAIRMAN OF TUC, GHANA

 

 

Brother Alex Opoku-Nyarko is the newly elected Chairman of the Trades Union Congress, Ghana.
This happened at the just ended 11th Quadrennial Delegates Congress of the TUC, Ghana which was held at the GNAT Village at Ejisu in the Ashanti Region, from 20th to 24th March, 2021.

The Congress which also coincides with the 75th anniversary of the TUC, Ghana was on the theme, “75 Years of TUC: Building Stronger Unions In A Changing World Of Work”.

The Congress was preceded by the 3rd Quadrennial Youth Delegates Congress and the 3rd Quadrennial Women’s Delegates Congress, both from 20th to 21st March, 2021 at the Public Services Workers Centre and the GNAT Village respectively.
A total of thirty-nine (39) delegates from UNICOF were present and actively participated in all activities of the Congress.
