UNICOF NWC Does It Again

 

 

We are proud to announce that the collaboration between the Chartered Institute of Bankers and UNICOF has reached another milestone.

A two-day training programme themed “Empowering Women for Influence, Well-being and Leadership” took place at the Chartered Institute of Bankers from Thursday, 9th to Friday, 10th April, 2026.

The training saw the participation of about sixty-two members from various institutions, including Consolidated Bank Ghana, GCB Bank PLC, Bank of Africa, National Insurance Commission, ARB Apex PLC, National Health Insurance Authority, Stanbic Bank Ghana, Toyota, Manya Krobo Rural Bank, South Akim Rural Bank, Unique Insurance, SIC Life Insurance Limited, SIC Insurance PLC, Honda Place, and Japan Motors & Associates.

In four sessions, facilitated by different speakers, participants were inspired on various topics: Confident Voice and Executive Presence (Mr. Bernard Adjei); Mental Health, Well-being and Sustainable Productivity (Dr. Richmond Acquah-Coleman); Emotional Intelligence, Influence and Digital Presence (Dr. Gideon Adjei); and Conflict, Negotiation and Collaboration in Hybrid Workplaces (Dr. Daniel Adjei).

 

Highlights of the training included group activities on identifying self and value, action planning on leadership, and social and self-awareness.

At the end of each session, members indicated that the training was helpful in their line of work and found it very insightful.
